Emma the chewing monster

We had forgotten how oral Labrador puppies could be. The first night we had Emma we bought her a plush squeaky toy, she demolished that before that week was over. Then I bought her a rope and sheepskin frisbee toy, she destroyed that in a matter of minutes.

Tuesday night Miss M and I went to Petco. There I bought Emma a few rubber toys to chew on. By now I knew any toy I bought her wouldn't last long, but I thought rubber toys would last a little longer. Well....the rubber tire toy I bought her has become her favorite....and my nemesis. For two days now I have vacuumed rubber pieces off the floor several times a day.



Emma however is a very happy chewer who has left things like shoes, books and furniture alone. So if vacuuming rubber is what I have to do to keep away from our shoes, books, and furniture, then so be it.
