As it is highly unlikely that my almost 22 month old will tell me what kind of birthday party theme she would like for her second birthday party in April, her daddy and I held a drawing tonight. In the rubbermaid bowl of options were;
- Disney Princess'
- TinkerBell
- Elmo
- Hello Kitty
- Princess
- Butterfly/ladybug
- Floral (thinking springtime here)
- Dora
Drum roll please.................................looks like
Hello Kitty won. Now before you start scratching your head...her daddy brought her back a Hello Kitty doll from Japan when she was eight months old, and her papa dressed her puh-puh (puppy) from Build-a-bear in Hello Kitty. So Hello Kitty is not all that foreign to her. Now time to look for Hello Kitty decorations.....

I don't remember where I found them now, but J had a Hello Kitty party for her 1st. It is an adorable theme!
