Playing Catch Up

I have been such a slacker-blogger lately, just doing the bare essentials. Here are some pictures from January up to recent, in no particular order.

Miss M and Hero on Hero's birthday enjoying the gift she and mommy picked out for him. I invited his parents over for dinner. Hero loves my fried chicken and all the fixin's, but doesn't get it very often. He was spoiled that night, fried chicken with all the fixin's and his mom brought him his favorite dessert, cheese cake. After opening his gifts, Hero proclaimed, "Nothing says lovin' like money and candy." Hero is so easy to please.

Miss M playing with Hero's uniform hat. She so loves her daddy!

"Look what I did!" Miss M after Hero taught her to write on herself with a pen. Thanks daddy...NOT!
I like to make muffins for breakfast, they are quick, easy, and my family likes them. Hero left the container they were in open, and Miss M found them.

Caught red-handed

She was eating just the tops off and then putting them back....what a booger! At least she likes the best part.On this day I made the HUGE mistake of putting the pudding on her plate with her lunch. Even though it was a lunch she LOVES; ravioli and peaches....she still went for the chocolate first. Can't really blame her, life is short, eat the chocolate first!
Miss M's Nana gave her this rocker when we were home for Thanksgiving. This was Nana's when she was a little girl. Miss M loves to sit on it and watch movies.

Miss M has never been a picky eater. She loves ANYTHING with cheese on it. We recently discovered the joys of bagels and cream cheese for breakfast. Of course she eats the cheese off first.
In this picture I told her to, "Smile for Nana!"

Miss M loves to put together puzzles, and if it sings/talks back to her all the better. Add the fact that it is a magnet and you have a combination made in heaven just for her! She loves this toy.
