Sad day

Do you have a pair of jammies that you just LOVE? I have several pairs, some are new, some are old, most are worn and comfortable.

Here is one of my all time favorites;
I have had these jammies for at least 14 years. They are worn and soft. They have seen me through years of fluctuating weight and a growing pregnant belly. These jammies have seen me through illness, death in the family, and long separations from Hero. Sadly the elasctic in the waistband had finally given out. I tried a clothes pin, I tried a safety pin....in the end I had to give up and bid them a fond adieu and send them to jammie heaven.

With tears in my eyes I put them in the trash. Now I wish I would have saved them to cut up for rags or a quilt.
