Happy Anniversary Baby!

Wow! Can you believe that it was eight years ago today that we stood before our family and heavenly Father and exchanged our wedding vows? I asked you last night if it seemed like yesterday or forever, then asked if it was a good or bad forever. For me it seems like I have known you for all of time. There must be some truth in your mom's theory that we knew each other in the spirit world.

My best friend, lover, confidant, hero...my husband

How is it that he can take up 80% of the bed, put his boney knees in my sore, achy pregnant back, snore loudly in my ear, and pollute the air of our bedroom with obnoxious gases and I still fall more in love with him everyday?

Hero and I have been together for over 14 years now, married for almost 7 of those. My how the time flies when you are truly having fun! It hasn't all been fun and roses, but the rough spots are so few they are not even in the view.

I tease him all the time about being an "oreo thief", that's how we met, and how I thought he was an "arrogant pig". But, truth be known I was smitten with him and that smile of his from the moment I laid my eyes on him. So now fourteen years later when he walks in the door after a long day at work, all handsome in his uniform, and smiles at me, I melt all over again.

So for all those people who thought we'd never make it...eat your heart out!

Love at Home

Heavenly Father sure knew what he was doing when he ordained a family as man and wife!

Have you noticed how smoothly your days run when there is love at home? It seems as though when there is love, there is peace and when there is peace...life is grand.

I know that my spouse and I are human and extremely fallible ones at that. We make mistakes on a daily basis. But knowing that my best friend is at home waiting to take me into his arms and help me work through my mistakes makes swallowing my pride a whole lot easier.

My husband truly is my best friend, and has been for almost 11 years now. I can not remember before him, nor do I want to fathom life without him.

Thank you hubby for being my rock, my confidant, my lover, but most of all thank you for being my best friend!
