Dancing Queen

Meghan has been taking a Mom & Tot class since this last spring. They do dance for about twenty-five minutes, and then tumbling for about 20 minutes. She LOVES dressing up in her leotard and going to dance class. I FINALLY remembered my camera this last week....

Summer classes started this last week. New teacher, new format...not quite sure what to do with the star teacher gave her.

I am sure she was thinking it would make a good flying disk......

Violation of child labor laws?

Miss M LOVES to help mommy clean up around the house. I try real hard to let her, something that is hard for a virgo and perfectionist to do.

Every time I open the pantry door Miss M goes for my swiffer sweeper handle. Last night I let her have it; figured I would just let her have fun "helping" mama. Then I got the bright idea to put on a wet swiffer pad on it. If she was going to pretend, might as well let it work in my favor as well.

Emma and Sophie

My parents have a pug named Sophie. She is your typical pug, the class clown. Sophie is cute, but sometimes she can be a pest when it comes to getting attention from other dogs and humans. Thanksgiving weekend, she met her match, and got a big dose of her own medicene....Emma.

They shared Emma's rawhide bones....when they weren't playing "keep away" with each other. Hero took three videos of these two playing. Last night when I uploaded them from the camera to the computer, Emma went crazy looking for her little friend, Sophie. She could hear her, but couldn't find her. Guess Sophie has a friend for life in Emma.

Miss M Playing in the dog's water.....AGAIN

From the day we brought Emma home it has been a battle to keep our water baby out of the water, and I don't mean the Labrador either. Today was no exception...only today I had the frame of mind to grab the camera and take a few pictures and a video.

Talking to daddy

One Sunday afternoon, Hero got down on the floor with Miss M. Having daddy down on her level she decided to give him an earful about her day. You can hear me in the background making noise in the kitchen. I was having a hard time keeping my chuckles to a minimum, listening to her talk to her daddy was so fun.
